At Qi Masters Class we welcome testimonials from our students as this is the best way for you to see the heart of our teaching. Qigong is a personal path of refinement. Everyone’s experience is valuable to helping others understand the deep trans-formative power and benefits of the practice. If you have taken a workshop or joined the cultivation program, I encourage you to leave your comments and questions for others to learn from. Beneath each workshop or program there is a place for you to leave comments. If you have a question I will answer it to the best of my capability. I love questions because they always clarify something that helps everyone. My thanks and gratitude to all who take the time to express their experience.

I have been practicing qigong for 3 years. The qigong techniques as taught
by Leah Franklin awaken and develop the core of vital body energy hidden
within the body. No other exercise form provides the positive benefits that
I have found through daily practice of qigong. Qigong integrates body, mind
and spirit. Now I can feel the qi moving within my body. The more I
practice, the better I feel.  My senses became clear. Before I began
qigong, I was numbed out and now I am able to sense both within and without.
As a result of qi gong training, I transformed my life. I went from being
sad and discouraged to being happy and enthusiastic. Now I can truly say I
feel great — better than ever. People who knew me before this training
remark on the tremendous difference in my appearance and attitude.
 I reach a deep place of calm and peacefulness from the practices that
require mental and physical concentration. This is positive reward for
continuing qigong practice. The more I practice, the better I feel. This 
has been the most rewarding experience of my life.

You asked how I am experiencing Qi. When I walk the dog, I roll my qi ball as I walk. After the dog walk, I practice an hour almost every day. The qi comes in easily as soon as I stop and focus. I start with the warm up practice you used with the last class [with Vic and others] to get qi moving. When I slap qi all over my body I can tell that I am getting qi feedback. Then I cultivate 108 and move the qi into hip and knee joints and out the toes. Then I’m really cooking and can feel the thick qi all around and within me. I pull qi up my legs 7X, then start dynamic to move the qi. I move the qi wherever I feel the need. Sometimes moving qi in middle dan; sometimes spiraling qi within and up & down to wherever qi tells me it needs to be. I end with small universe or qi walk or yin/yang palms to balance the qi. I’m becoming more aware of feeling and listening to the qi and letting the qi tell me what is needed in my practice.

About 2 months ago I went to listen to Leah speak in NK, I knew then that I wanted to learn more from her and I just finished the 2 day workshop. This was an extraordinarily positive experience on so many levels. I am a very private woman but I felt at home right away, I was among “peers”. The bonds created at the Well will last, they were formed in kindness and oneness. I will be able to use what I learned every day to help me navigate through the challenging days and find the peace that brings the essential balance to my life. It will also help me bring gratitude to a higher level, keeping the circle I want to exist in, whole and flowing. I will be continuing to train with Leah and am so excited to have begun this journey.

I have now worked through all 3 of the DVD’s. They are remarkable!!! They are particularly useful for me since your move. However, even if you were still here, they are an amazing review. I heard stuff I just did not hear the first time in class. It has made a significant difference in my daily practice. As you know, this is life changing stuff. Tell anyone who might have the slightest interest that Vic said to “Take your training and buy the DVD”

I’m so glad that I took this Qigong- 2day program! It was amazing, important and wonderful to take time out from the activities of my life to slow down and pay attention to my breathing patterns, and learn techniques for cultivating and harvesting energy. Leah is an inspired teacher and Qigong practitioner. It was a joy to study with her. I found the program subject matter relatively easy to grasp and yet truly profound.

Thank you for your demonstration at UUCSC. As someone who knows the value of breath and practiced it sporadically, I now, thanks to you, breathe fully into all activities in my life. I learned to do this with prayer long ago but often forgot to breathe – no longer.
I have experienced changes in just a few days!! It has enhanced my herbal remedies for inflammation and stress (who does not feel the stress of the world we live in, including our personal challenges as we evolve through our daily lessons).
I am simply blessed to have met you along my path and wise enough to know, at my age of 68, to incorporate what I learned that day into my daily practices.
